Union's patented H.C.S™ (Hybrid
Charge System)
allows all cleaning components to function in a specially coordinated way to
achieve optimum processing results.
This optional feature helps to remove water-soluble stains by using
humidified (moisture charged) solvent during the pre-wash phase. This significantly reduces the
need for an operator to have to individually treat stains with water-containing
products. Respectively, this also reduces the risks associated with such
practices and treatments. This very important feature enables a reduction to be made in the amount of
treatment additives normally needed to remove water-soluble staining and the
bonus is, it performs within the parameters of drycleanability testing for care labeling,
ISO 3175.
The whole concept is very effective in softening and loosening water-soluble
soiling. The even distribution of moisture is extremely effective in achieving
level cleaning results with improved safety. The system also lowers costs which
is a bonus.
HOW ?
Normally-charged solvent from the working tank is taken to the cage for the
pre-wash stage of a standard 2 bath dry cleaning cycle. The recovered solvent
from the drying phase of the previous cycle, without any moisture separation, is
blended into the pre-wash bath. The collective result is a safe level of
humidity and a detergent-charged solvent which is highly efficient in removing
wet bound soiling.
From a technical point of view, there is a further advantage to this system:
it prevents the small particles of linting normally carried with the recovered
solvent from coming into contact with the main water separator and, there,
eventually becoming rancid and bacteria bound.
NEW PATENTED SOLVENT FOAMING PROTECTION.
Hydrocarbon solvent foaming action during distillation potentially pollutes
the separator and working solvent.
It increases the possibility of odour-causing
bacteria to contaminate the holding tanks. Union's new, patented SENSORPLUS
regulates the distillation rate, solvent temperature, and pH levels in the tanks
to offer full protection against distillation foaming and bacteria.
TIME IS MONEY.
Drying is fast—time-saving is important operationally, and garments
benefit by having less mechanical action. The average load takes 20 minutes to
dry thanks to the Union's exclusive I.T.D.S (Ideal Tunnel Drying System).
This innovative low mechanical action design doubles the air flow rate through
the load in the basket which dramatically cuts the drying time. The midway
located fan unit, between coordinated heating and cooling coils; the
rear-perforated fast-spin basket; and the Auto-Dry temperature control, all add
up to give the fastest drying time of all. All-round production efficiency is
maintained.
